FAQ
Is Azhi Flow a replacement for Claude Code, OpenCode or Copilot?
Section titled “Is Azhi Flow a replacement for Claude Code, OpenCode or Copilot?”No. Those are interactive coding tools. Azhi runs the same kind of work repeatedly, unattended and auditable, and can run OpenCode and the Claude Agent SDK as steps. See How it compares.
Is it production ready?
Section titled “Is it production ready?”It is alpha. Phases 0 to 3 are done; the first release (phase 4) is only outlined. Workers are supported on Linux only. See Project status.
Does it work on my Mac / on Windows?
Section titled “Does it work on my Mac / on Windows?”Both are tested and working. Windows works inside WSL2 for the team install, and natively in experimental local mode. On macOS the server runs in Docker and a development worker runs natively; workers are not certified there. See the setup guides.
Do I need Docker?

What stops a prompt injection from making the agent post somewhere bad?
Section titled “What stops a prompt injection from making the agent post somewhere bad?”The taint rule: a write after an agent that read untrusted data must be gated by an approval or a CEL guard, or the workflow fails to compile. It gates writes; it does not make the agent’s analysis immune to being misled.
Will a crash cause a duplicate Slack message or issue?
Section titled “Will a crash cause a duplicate Slack message or issue?”The ledger is designed so it does not: retries find the earlier action, dedupable writes are looked up on the target, and unsafe writes stop for an operator. The alpha demo kills the gateway mid-post and shows exactly one message.
How do you know what it costs?
Section titled “How do you know what it costs?”Per-turn usage and cost from declared pricing. If the price is unknown, the cost is unavailable, never guessed, and spend limits say they are a lower bound. See Cost and token control.
Can it merge my PRs?
Section titled “Can it merge my PRs?”No. Nothing in Azhi merges, closes or force-pushes. AI-SDLC opens draft PRs after a person approves.
